Effective Date: August 21, 2026

HYDAMECH primarily manufactures custom metal enclosures, industrial cabinets, equipment housings, and sheet metal assemblies according to customer drawings, specifications, samples, and approved project requirements.

Because most products are manufactured specifically for individual B2B or OEM projects, they are generally not eligible for consumer-style returns or refunds simply because the customer’s requirements, purchasing plans, or demand have changed.

1. Custom-Made Products

Products manufactured according to customer-specific:

  • drawings;
  • dimensions;
  • tolerances;
  • materials;
  • finishes;
  • quantities;
  • samples;
  • technical specifications;
  • other project requirements

are considered custom-made products.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, custom-made products are not eligible for discretionary return after production has started.

2. Quality Requirements

Product conformity will be evaluated according to the mutually agreed project requirements, which may include:

  • approved drawings;
  • confirmed dimensions and tolerances;
  • material requirements;
  • surface treatment requirements;
  • approved samples;
  • inspection standards;
  • purchase order specifications;
  • quality agreements;
  • mutually confirmed technical documents.

The latest mutually approved project documentation will normally be used as the primary reference for determining conformity.

3. Reporting a Quality Issue

If a customer believes that delivered products do not conform to the agreed requirements, the customer should contact HYDAMECH promptly.

Where available, please provide:

  • order or invoice number;
  • part number;
  • affected quantity;
  • clear photos or videos;
  • measurement results;
  • inspection reports;
  • description of the suspected nonconformity;
  • packaging condition where relevant.

Customers should retain the affected products and relevant packaging until the issue has been reviewed.

Any specific quality-claim period agreed in a quotation, purchase order, quality agreement, sales agreement, or other project document will take precedence.

4. Quality Review

After receiving sufficient information, HYDAMECH will review the reported issue against the applicable technical and commercial requirements.

The review may include:

  • drawing and specification verification;
  • production record review;
  • inspection record review;
  • photo or video analysis;
  • measurement comparison;
  • sample inspection;
  • return inspection where reasonably necessary.

Additional information may be requested where required to determine the cause or scope of the issue.

5. Corrective Action

Where a nonconformity for which HYDAMECH is responsible is confirmed, an appropriate corrective action may include:

  • technical clarification;
  • sorting or additional inspection;
  • rework;
  • replacement;
  • replenishment of affected quantities;
  • credit;
  • refund where mutually agreed.

The appropriate solution will depend on the nature, cause, affected quantity, usability, and commercial circumstances of the relevant project.

6. Transportation Damage

If products appear to have been damaged during transportation, customers should retain the original packaging and provide photos, videos, or other evidence as soon as reasonably possible.

Responsibility for transportation damage or loss will be evaluated according to the agreed shipping arrangement, Incoterm, freight responsibility, and applicable commercial agreement.

7. Order Cancellation or Changes

Because custom manufacturing may require:

  • material purchasing;
  • tooling;
  • programming;
  • fabrication;
  • machining;
  • surface treatment;
  • subcontracted processes;
  • other project-specific preparation,

requests to cancel or modify an order after confirmation are subject to HYDAMECH’s written approval.

Reasonable costs already incurred before an approved cancellation or modification may be charged to the customer.

Changes may also affect quotation price, lead time, tooling, minimum quantity, or delivery schedule.

8. Refunds

Refunds are not automatically available for custom-manufactured products.

Where a refund or credit is determined to be an appropriate resolution following review of a confirmed issue, the amount, method, scope, and timing will be agreed between HYDAMECH and the customer.

A refund does not automatically apply to unaffected products or quantities unless otherwise agreed.

9. Customer-Supplied Information

HYDAMECH manufactures custom products based on information confirmed for the relevant project.

HYDAMECH will not normally be responsible for issues resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, conflicting, or unsuitable drawings, specifications, dimensions, samples, application information, or other requirements supplied or approved by the customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Project-Specific Terms

If this Policy conflicts with a mutually agreed quotation, purchase order, sales agreement, quality agreement, approved drawing, specification, or other project-specific written agreement, the project-specific written agreement will take precedence.
